BIOGRAPHY
Kineta Kunimatsu
PROFILE
Born in Hokkaido in 1977. After graduating from Department of Sculpture at Tama Art University, he started to work mostly in Tobiu Art Community in Shiraoi-cho, Hokkaido since 2002. In recent years, his sculptures, paintings, and installations are focused on the subjects of various outlines (boundaries,) which exist in the landscape, such as horizon on land and at sea, and range of mountains. He also continues his field work mainly in the area, called Ayoro, as a part of activities of Ayoro Laboratory. Director of Tobiu Art Community.
